Enrolment method

In your Course settings section you can set a course to Everyone or By assignment only

If you set a course to Everyone, all learners will be enrolled and cannot be unassigned from that course.

Setting a course to By assignment only will mean the learner will need to be enrolled on it manually or using the Smart enrolment method.

This is how to set a course enrolment method to either Everyone or By assignment only:

First up, click on "Settings".
Then in the COURSES area, click on "Course settings".
Click on the course name from the list whose enrolment method you want to edit.
Click on the drop-down menu under "Enrolment method".
Select the enrolment method from the list, either Everyone or By assignment only.
Once that's done, click on "Ok, I understand" to confirm method.
Now, click on "Save changes".
