After your Upgrade, you will be able archive your user instead of fully deleting them.
This will enable you to retrieve them and their course data should you need to.
How to Archive Users
- Click Users in the left-side menu to open the Users page.
- Find the user or use the search bar to find the user you want to set active/inactive.
- Click the three-dot button {…} on the right side of that user’s row.
- Select View/Edit User Details.
- Select the Archive User button in the top right corner.
- Click OK to save the change and archive the user.
Recovery of Archived Users
Here’s how it works:
- Click Users in the left-side menu to open the Users page.
- Click on the menu dots (…) and select the View Archived Users section.
- This shows a list of users who have been archived, with the most recent at the top.
- Each archived user has a Recover button, allowing you to restore them to the active Users list.
- When recovering, you’ll have the option to update their email or username—ideal if those details have changed or are already in use.
- If there is associated data for the user, this is also restored automatically when a user is recovered.
